Savory Marionberry & Black Cherry Toast

This isn’t your average jam on toast. This is layer-upon-layer of creamy, tangy, juicy, crunchy joy. We simmered down rich black cherries with a pouch of our Savory Marionberry sauce, spooned it over whipped mascarpone, and gave it the crunch treatment with homemade granola. It’s indulgent without being heavy—and just quirky enough to feel fancy.

Ingredients:

  • 1–2 slices of your favorite toasted bread
  • 1 pouch of Howl at the Spoon Savory Marionberry
  • 1/2 cup fresh or frozen black cherries, pitted
  • 1/2 tsp lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup mascarpone cheese (whipped or softened)
  • A small handful of granola

Instructions:

  1. In a small saucepan, combine cherries, Savory Marionberry, and lemon juice. Simmer until reduced and sticky (about 5–7 minutes). Let cool slightly.
  2. Spread mascarpone onto toast.
  3. Spoon the cherry-marionberry mixture over the top.
  4. Finish with a sprinkle of granola for crunch.
Pro tip: Swap mascarpone for Greek yogurt or a dairy-free alternative. This combo is magic over pancakes too.
